The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, 5th October, 2018 cut sod for the construction of Water Production Factory at Ajumako Campus, Central Region, Ghana.
The Water Production Factory project, initially to be constructed at North Campus, Winneba was moved eventually to Ajumako due to the salty nature of the land at Winneba. The relocation of the project to Ajumako functions as a way of improving activities in the town.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, 12th October, 2018 held Matriculation ceremonies for the 2018/19 batch of fresh regular students on Winneba and Ajumako Campuses.
The Matriculation Ceremony which officially admitted fresh regular students into the University as Junior Members had three sessions on Winneba Campus and a session at Ajumako Campus.
