The Gender Mainstreaming Directorate has funding to sponsor one female senior member (Teaching) to pursue her PhD in any gender related discipline. Interested applicants who have already gained admissions should contact the offices of the Gender Mainstreaming Directorate at the North campus (N. K. Pecku Building, Room 210) or Central campus.
UEW SIGNS MOU WITH THE TRANS AFRICA COLLEGE

The University of Education, Winneba on January 18, 2012 granted affiliation to the Trans Africa College (TAC) Accra. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to that effect was signed by representatives of the two institutions: The Vice-Chancellor of UEW, Prof Asabere-Ameyaw and the Registrar, Mr. C. Y. Akwaa-Mensah all from the University of Education, Winneba and the Chairman of Council of Trans Africa College, Prof. K. M. Bosompem and the Director, Mr. Samuel Segbefia signed for TAC.
